Aren't these boys all just so cute? Boy, do they have one lucky grandma!! I had a great opportunity to meet a very nice extended family of a friend of mine. While they were all in town visiting, they decided to do a spur-of-the-moment photo shoot to get some pictures for Grandma. These boys did great and were all so nice and easy to work with.

James is such a cutie and so fun to work with!! And boy, does he love his Mama!! :-) We went out and grabbed some 1st Birthday Pictures to display for his birthday party. Mom was so thought full and made sure to bring the things that were important to him.

When we were out taking photos and he would get excited and he would roll his tongue like in the first image!! It was too cute, and perfect for Mom and Dad to keepsake this memory in a photo.

Hancock Family {Boise, Idaho | Extended Family Photographer}

I was able to meet the Hancock family, and help them preserve their family memories as they all met together before a special baptism for an extended family photo. I put together a special family mini-shoot for them. It all went so smoothly!! 26 people was a first for a large group shot for me and to be honest, it made me a little nervous. :-) However, they were great!! It went so smoothly and we got a great family shot that Grandma Hancock loves and already has a large print hanging on her wall!! :-) Thanks Hancocks!!

Miss little Paislee was born almost 10 weeks ago. Her newborn photo session was done at 11 days old. She is so sweet and was very welcomed by her two older brothers and Mom & Dad.

I got to know the Raber family, first, through the Officer Spouses Club. Michelle is so energetic, fun and outgoing!! What a wonderful woman!! She bid on a few of my gift certificates that were donated to the club for various fundraising reasons. I was glad that she was one of the winners!!

We just stuck around the base and mostly just had a fun time!! Dad was a great sport, which is always nice!! :-) They since have moved on to a new location. I really dislike it when I get to know someone and I wish I could have known longer before they moved... but that is part of life. Thanks goodness for social networking and being able to keep in touch better!!

Now that I have some time off from shooting ... waiting for my new baby to arrive ... I have time to catch up on my blogging!! I have been so busy these past few months of pregnancy. I have had no time to blog. As of last night, I have no more shoots for a little while, and I am just wrapping up my last few print orders. There is a light at the end of the tunnel ... for now! :-)

Here are the Hammons! They have also moved on in their military career. I already miss them!! They have been great clients of mine that I have been able to shoot over the past few years. I have appreciated their loyalty!!! It has been fun to watch their children grow over the years!

As I clean and organize my files, I occasionally run into shoots that I have not published on my blog... and this was one of them! The Sitton Family is so dear to our family. We really enjoyed them while they were here. However, you will find that in a military life there is always change. Lt. Col Sitton was at the end of the road in his military career and the new and exciting adventures that lay ahead for him and his family.

We were so grateful for the friendship they extended not only to my husband and I, but also to our children! I know my family will miss you all!! Thank you for taking the time to think of us and hiring me to capture this special retirement day for you all!!

They went away with literally, hundreds of images from the retirement ceremonyto the family formals that followed.

I have just posted a few family images... one with the uniform and one with out. And last but not least one of the happy couple that started it all!! :-) Enjoy these images of a great family!!

They have such a strong, sweet and thoughtful Mama, who wanted to surprise their Dad with a little picture book of his babies. When you are away from your family, there is nothing more important then a photograph. What a great way to show her love and support!!

My life is surrounded by boys! :-) With 3, soon to be 4 sons, plus a husband... we have a lot of boys around here with friends ect. My life is full of camping, fishing, hunting, guns, bikes, dirt, bugs, sports... and that is totally fine with me! Growing up I was the only girl with 3 brothers. Thank goodness for a good mom who kept the girl in me!! But I was glad to have the experiences with the "manly" things in life so that I would have a joy and appreciation for the things that were to come with my children. I am grateful I find joy in the things that make them happy!!

Two of my sons' friends are below, and my boys adore their friendship!! You gotta love the curls on this kid!!

While editing some photos from a recent family session, I came across this image and just loved everything about it ... her soft smile, her hands in her lap, her shoulders slightly shrugged... I wanted share the image edited. I also thought I would share another version of the image, image #2. It is the same as image #1, just cropped in real close with a black and white tone for something fun!! This way we can get two great and different photos from one image.

Things have been busy around here!! :-) Between some photo shoots, expecting Baby Boy #4 and life, I have been a bad blogger! It seems that when I take everyone else's photos I tend to forget my own boys!! Their last child portraits were back in February of last year!! I know... slacker. So, we headed out with a friend of mine (I'll post her sweet boys pictures another time), bribed them a little with Happy Meals, and there ya have it!!

I am a little biased, but they sure are handsome!

Remember them???

I showed you all a little sneak peek a few months back. This was my last session in Arizona. It was so great to take the Anderson's photos. Lindsey and I have been "talking" about doing this for some time, and we finally coordinated our schedules to get 'r done! :-)

We met the Anderson's and became instant buds, right before we moved from Arizona (good timing, huh?). But, it is ok! We have managed to keep in touch and meet up when we are in town! The kids all have a blast together! But, I think it is more fun for us all to watch Justin (my husband), John and another friend, Randy, all interact! They are truly hilarious together!! There is something funny about watching grown men act like little boys. :-) Which most are still little boys at heart.

I {heart} the Castle family! I knew the hubby since our track days in High School. Our schools use to compete together. Being from smaller high schools it seemed that we had quite a few meets together. The wifey... what can I say! We became best bud's the moment we met in a chiropractor's office years ago. I like to think we needed each other!! When I moved out the first time on my own, I ran into the hubs at church. Once the two friends were introduced... Ca-Pow... Cupid stuck!!

Here they are years later with three beautiful little children. I was more then thrilled to do their family photos... plus it gave me a chance to catch up a little!

The Hightower Family Collection {Phoenix, Arizona | Family Photographer}

While away in Arizona, I booked 3 family sessions. I love when I travel home and get to shoot in old familiar scenery. It was also a nice escape from our Idaho winter. I really can see why snow birds do what they do! As soon as life slows down for my husband and I, I would like to think we will become snow birds one day too! :-)

I was so excited when a long time friend contacted me to be their family photographer this past year. It was so great to get together and see how she and her little family are doing. Their little boy is such a riot! He had the cutest things to say all night. Thanks Hightower family!! It was so good to see you!

The Cozzens Family {Buckeye, Arizona | Extended Family Photographer}

There is something about the sun that is so soothing to me. When you walk out of a chilled building and into the sunlight, you can feel the sun melt the cold right out of you. From top to bottom. Mmmm.... It almost gives me the chills just thinking about it.

I miss the Arizona sunshine right now! But, more then the sunshine, I miss my family! When I go home to the Valley of the Sun, I have a wonderful opportunity to provide family photos for my parents and siblings. I enjoy it! I love to give them quality photography and share my talent with them. I love to see the smile on my moms face as she decides which photo will go on the card this year. (I could do without all the bickering from the guys... but that is another story in and of itself).

So here is where we started as a family... Ma and Pa! Aren't they cute! I love that they are so young and we have such a great friendship as well. These two have known each other since grade school! This year has been rough as my dad has been fighting cancer, but we are grateful to be together the chances we get!

I also thought it would be fun to get a picture of just the parents and us kids before we jumped into the large group picture.

... and my baby brother and his sweet girlfriend. He is the baby, but happens to be the biggest of the three boys! I think life's paybacks can be funny!!

At the end of all the photos taken from the extended family shoot, we wanted to grab a picture of all the grand kids. They were cold and tired. But we managed to get one. It was all my poor little Carson could do to just sit still. My mother also reminded me today that there will be two more grand kids to add to the picture next year!

Now drum roll please..... The Whole Fam-Damily (as my dad would say)!

Fall is so amazing! Being an Arizona girl, you don't see a lot of the bright colors in the desert. So, I welcome fall and all the beauty it has to offer. It has to be my most favorite time to photograph!!

I love the colors of the trees in this first family photo of the Jensen's. They are such a fun and stylish family! I really had a great time getting to know each one of them just a little bit during our shoot. They have such a strong family bond and great relationships with each other. Happy Valentines Day! {Mountain Home, Idaho | Family Photographer}

I really hope everyone had a very Happy Valentines Day! I know we sure did! We celebrated it as a family. I am not a person that requires much for Valentines Day... don't buy me the little chocolate boxes (just a simple bag of candy is fine)... don't buy me flowers (they always die)... and I don't need jewelry... I really am a simple girl! It is in the things don't cost money that really show how you feel about someone. Anyone can go to the store and buy something.

I just happened to be at the BX on Valentines Day when most people got off work. (Just an FYI for anyone who is not a Mountain Home local... it is the only store on base.) It was hilarious to see all the men running through the store to purchase their last minute Valentine gifts before they headed home. It made me laugh! :-)

As I promised on Facebook, here is our family Valentines Card!! I loved the way it turned out. I purchased some really cute Valentine Card designs this year to add to my card collections. I just love the new die-cut cards our printer just released!!

Josh: Pre-Mission {Mountain Home, Idaho | Mission Pictures Photographer}

This was by far, one of my most fun shoots this past fall! Josh was so excited to do his pre-mission pictures and had so many ideas. I took his idea's and ran with them! When he saw the finished product, he was speechless and so happy that I was able to take his idea and put it into a photograph. It really makes me smile when my customers smile and love their pictures!!

Here is that photograph... He said something like, "The field is white and ready to harvest..." :-)

Josh is so full of energy, always in a good mood and always has a smile on his face. He had so much passion to serve a mission for his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and dedicate his time and talent to the Lord for 2 years.

We also grabbed a shot of Josh favorite Book of Mormon scripture, Ether 12:27.

The Flanders are such a cute family! I just love them... it doesn't help that the girls are just so cute, and Mom, just always makes me laugh! She just has a way to make people relax and laugh! So, it was a ton of fun to do their pictures... even though it was really cold... and maybe the fact that they lost their car keys in the pile of leaves and had to come back later with a rake to find them. AND find them, they did!! I was surprised because we combed the leaves for a while after the shoot!! Now that will be something they will always remember about this shoot. :-)

The Brown family is so sweet! They really have a great family connection. I love that I keep getting the opportunity to photographer their family. You can see some of their older shoots I have done by clicking HERE or HERE.

The ceremony was held at the club in Gown Field: Boise, Idaho.

Bobbie Jo & Ty have a very fun and unique twist to their wedding. The whole day was planned around the Boise State game. Bobbie Jo made sure to incorporate it into their special day. From the grooms cake, to the "...Something Blue," from the team spirit in her hair, to a live stream of the game in the bar.

I wish them the best of luck for years to come!!

And because it is here, the sun rises a little later. Just enough so, that I am up and able to see it! The other morning I woke up to bring my puppies outside and saw this beautiful sunrise. I ran into my house an grabbed my camera to get this!

With Fall being here, the leaves are changing fast! So make sure that if you want your family photos this season the leaves are changing now! :-)

Rain, Rain, Go Away {Mountain Home, Idaho | Family Photographer}

Well, I am happy to say that I am still here and kicking!! Sorry for the delay in blogging, my friends. I was training for a triathlon that I just finished up yesterday. It was a huge accomplishment for me and my personal goals, and it did take up much extra time. Which then put blogging on the back burner. But, I am back!

So, I had to share with you this funny image from a photo shoot that I did the other night. We have had a few random rain storms hit us here in Mountain Home, Idaho. This particular evening we waited the rain out 4 times. The family was great!! The husband even had the idea to have a very somber looking photo as we were waiting for a few sprinkles to pass. I love it!! The mood, the lighting, everything. A few times I might have felt like I was going to get struck my lightening, but I have lived to say that it didn't happen. Tying the Knot! {Mountain Home, Idaho | Boise, Idaho | Wedding Photographer}

I had the privilege to second shoot the wedding of Jason & Paige with my dear friend Jamie. Jamie is a close friend of mine that is also a photographer. It is great to have a friend in the business!! It is always fun to bounce idea's of someone that has the same goals as you and we both truly care about each other succeeding. It was so fun to spend the day in her company and get to know her sweet assistant!

Jason and Paige were married in the cute town of Pocatello, Idaho. I gathered a few of my images that I got from the day. What a day it was... these people know how to put a party on!! The whole thing from start to finish was amazing!!

Jason and Paige decided to see each other before the wedding!! It is always great when a couple decides to do that. It helps so much more with the flow of the day to have the opportunity to get pictures of them before instead of squeezing time in between the wedding and reception. It was so cute to watch them interact with each other and have that special time together before the ceremony.

Huck Fin- Sneak Peek! {Mountain Home, Idaho | Child Photographer}

I absolutely love my photo's of my kids from Valentines Day!! They are still hanging on my wall. However, I want more!! :-) Yes, I love to take picture's, and I love picture's of my kids. Although, I think they are the hardest to photograph... and here are my reasons why:

1. I am their mother, and they know all the buttons to push.

2. Being a photographer, I already know exactly what I want hanging on my wall.

3. They don't care what is hanging on my wall.

It was stressful, but it did turn out just fine in the end. I got a lot of really cute images. Let's just say, what I had originally envisioned, unfolded on "film" ...so to speak.

So here was the first image I edited. I just love this little guy! I put two up to show you the difference. One is a clear, sharp image with a mild vintage tone (which I love simple, clean, sharp and colorful images)...

... and two, the one that I added texture to. I love what texture does to a picture, but it is always so hard for me to decide between the two. So, tell me... which do you like better?

Bobbie Jo & Ty, Engaged! {Mountain Home, Idaho| Engagement Photographer}

I have been putting this blog post off for a little while now. I was not sure how to go about it. But, after some time has passed, I feel comfortable to share the story with you, and with their permission to share it. First and foremost... Ty & Bobbie Jo are amazing! We had a great time out on their photo shoot. I actually cut out most of their laughing pictures, but I could do a whole blog post of these two laughing. It just spreads a smile across my face when I look at the images.

I actually did their photo shoot about a month ago, and then found out that one week after their shoot Ty was involved in an accident. He volunteer's for the Mountain Home Fire Department and was seriously injured on the 3rd setting up the firework display. You can learn more about that by clicking HERE.

When I found out he was involved in the accident, my heart just sank, and I paced the floor that day trying to figure out what I could do to help. All my solutions came to a dead end, but I was comforted to find out that they were taken care of by their insurance company.

I am very happy to say that Ty is expected to have a full recovery. They have been truly blessed, and the accident could have been much worse. I know that we only go through challenges in life to make us stronger, and I am sure this has done just that for these two.

Bobbie Jo and Ty have such a strong relationship. They both have a mutual love for our military and country. They both are actively involved as Ty is part of the local Police Department and Bobbie Jo works with the U.S. National Guard. They also love sports, traveling and their cute little shitzu puppies (and, yes, I have been privileged to meet them!).

Bobbie Jo and I seem to be on the same page with a lot of things, so I can't wait to see how their special day unfolds in September.

The BIG day! {Mountain Home, Idaho | Wedding Photographer}

This summer I was able to head out on the road to Montana and be a second shoot with my cousin Deserae. Her and I always seem to have the best time when we are together and we never seem to skip a beat, even though it has been years since the last time we saw each other. She also shares a love for photography like I do. She happened to be shooting a wedding the week I went to visit... and we had a blast!!

Being a second shooter is defiantly different then being the main photographer. There are many pluses, but there are also some struggles. It is nice to be worry free and just shoot. It is nice to not have the stress of the wedding fall on your shoulders. It is fun to watch and see how other photographers handle the flow of the day. However, I found it hard to just sit there when my natural creative side is wanting to jump out, take charge and do my thing! :-) It was a good experience. And I had two of them back to back. I have another wedding I'll be posting soon!

So, my two cents to you other photog's out there... DO IT! Go second shoot. You will learn a lot. See if you can get permission from the photographer you are shooting with to use the images you shot to build your portfolio. I highly recommend this for newer photographers starting out! If you are a little seasoned, it will help you gain new perspectives.

Tanner + Tera have now just celebrated their one year anniversary of dating each other. It was fun to take them out and get some photo's of their cute, little, in-love selves. Tanner has been my little brother for 21 years now. He is such a loving and giving young man. He has truly been a blessing from the time of his birth. We always worried about him since he was born 2 months premature, but he has grown to be the tallest of three brothers. It was natural for me to mother-hen him growing up since I am 7 years older then him, and some things never change. Love Ya Tanner-Bananer!!

Ma & Pa { Buckeye, Arizona | Cave Creek, Arizona | Couple & Engagement Photography}

While on my visit to Arizona, my parents and I headed to Cave Creek to relive some child hood memories. We went to Frontier Town and were excited to eat @ Crazy Ed's Satisfied Frog. Sadly, after we traveled an hour and a half to get there, we learned that it had been closed down. Luckily, there was a new eatery there, so we were still able to fill our ever-so-overly-hungry tummy's.

After posting my parent's sneak peek of their couples photography shoot, I decided I needed to get their full blog post up and running, and while on the subject of family, I had to share this adorable picture of my oldest and lovely niece Haley. Look at those beautiful baby blues. Her mother also made her VERY cute headband!! If I ever have the privilege to have my own baby girl, she will have to teach me how to make those adorable little things... or better yet, just make some for me and let me buy them from her! :-)

Cozzens Family {Buckeye, Arizona | Family Photographer}

My family sure kept me busy while I was in Arizona, but I love what I do, and I love to do what I do, especially, for people I love! Remember their sneak peek? Well, here is the full post of one of my brothers and his sweet little family.

As a photographer, there is always something to learn. One thing that I have learned most this past year is keeping it simple. I use to go find these amazing locations, but if you keep things simple, you will understand that the subject is the most important part of the photo, not the surroundings. If you focus on that, then you will be amazed at how your images will reflect that. It is still important to find good locations that will support your subject and their style. You also want to make sure you find locations that will also provide you with the best lighting during the time of day you are going to be shooting. I'll have to go over all that in another post. Lighting is HUGE!! But sometimes, the simplest spots make the best photographs.

Soto Extended Family Portraits {Verrado, Arizona | Family Photographer}

While in Arizona, I had the opportunity to photographer an old friend of mine, Maria, and her beautiful family. We planned on doing the extended family photo shoot at Verrado. It is a quaint little community that sits in the foothills of the White Tank Mountains. It was really fun to meet up with the Soto family, as I knew all of them from my piano lesson days as a young girl. Most of them I haven't seen since my senior year of High School. It was so nice to see their own families and children.

The Grant Family {Mountain Home, Idaho | Family Photographer}

The Grants were the lucky bidders of the photo shoot that we donated for the Officer Spouses Club Annual Auction. Every year the OSC holds an annual auction to help raise money for the scholarships that they award every year. It is quite the event, and I was so happy they were the winning bidders!!

We went out in April and went around to get some genuine "Southern Idaho" images. They are getting ready to make a military move and wanted some photos to remember their time here.

We simply had a fun time!! Grants, you made me laugh, you were funny, and sweet and rocked the socks off the camera!!

Here is a sneak peek of my parents. We headed over to Cave Creek a day to enjoy the fun shops and food, and snapped some photos of my parents. Remember these guys?!! I did their family portraits back in October. Back then, Mrs. Brown and I discussed doing some fun pictures of the kids when her husband deployed. We also talked about putting an album together for him as a surprise. Well... that time has finally come! We got together and had fun doing some very special photos that had some props in them that meant a whole lot to Mr. Brown.

Well, this little guy turned 1 while daddy was gone. So we incorporated that into the photo shoot. We also had fun getting some stern military faces out of the children.

Last we grabbed few photos of mom in her hubby's hat.

What a fun opportunity to show their hero that they support him. What a sacrifice this family is making for our country. Thank You, Browns!!

This past weekend I had an opportunity to catch up with a old friend. I can remember Ms. Maria form Junior High!!! I use to take piano lessons from the school she went to. So, when I was done with my lessons she would occasionally come and meet me at the playground while I would wait for my brothers to finish up their lessons.

Ms. Maria hired me to come and take their extended family photos while I was in Arizona, and it was so fun to catch up and see the whole family again!! I can't wait to show you all the images from their shoot...

What did you do for Earth Day?

I got a random email from a friend of mine with some cute little pictures of her kids all covered in dirt. It was titled Happy Earth Week. Immediately, I had a light bulb go off in my head! I thought of a really fun, but unique Earth Day themed photo shoot. Yeah, and that is kinda how it works for me. I feel like people are going to laugh at my ideas and think I am a little crazy. I think I kinda have to be a little bit to get some of the fun photo idea's that I do... But, I have this vision in my head. Now, it is just trying to get that vision to play out...

... and it did!! I am so happy for a fun, spur of the moment friend that is willing to play along with my crazy ideas. So we had a fun themed Earth Day Party last night. I love an excuse to get all glammed up. We had fun with our eye makeup, leaves... pretty much anything you can think of! We laughed about it.

Kunsky Grandkids { Mountain Home, Idaho | Child Photographer | Infant, Newborn, & Baby Photographer}

A few weeks ago I went to a really fun, but private location for a group photography photo session of these adorable cousins. Their Grandma had some fun ideas of what she wanted, and had a really fun location in mind with a pond, dock, old red barn, ducks, lama's, old farming equipment, a large willow tree... you name it. I was in photographer heaven.

One of the images that Grandma wanted was a photograph of all the grandkids feet. It was challenging to get all the little kiddos to stay put for a minute with all their feet together, but we did it!!

Then we took each child around the farm and did some individual portraits.

Before the shoot was over I took a some couple photographers of one of the set of parents.
I'll be doing their family photos soon, and I am looking forward to that!! Thanks Grandma Kunsky!! We had a really fun time!!

So, that is the sound of me taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly! I have been SUPER busy this week. Sorry, that I have neglected you, blog. I have been thinking about you, but really have been just trying to stay afloat this past week and a half.

What a fun week it has been! I have had such an opportunity to photograph so many different people, I can't wait to tell you each one of their stories. I have a few more photo shoots to do and need to wrap everything up before I head down to the Valley of the Sun, in Arizona next week!! The full blog posts will be coming soon!

BUT, here is just a quick look at a few of the jobs I have been on... As usual, Enjoy!

Here is an image from the Grant Family Photography session. They were a lot of fun and really wanted some Idaho family portraits done.

I also did some really fun, American themed family portraits with the Brown family. I did their family portraits back in Octber. This is such a cute photo of their littlest guy! What a sweet and happy boy he is!

We went to a really unique "private" location for the child and infant photography shoot we did with the Kunsky Grandkids! This was a fun shoot that you will want to see more pictures from. It was a wonderful hidden oasis in this high desert/sage driven land we live in here in Mountain Home!

We also have been really busy doing some team photo shoots. It is not something that I do on a regular basis, but I love to support my children in their sports. So, when soccer season rolls around, I decide to take team photos. It is a really fun experience! I really enjoy working with the kids on a team level and share their excitement with them! :-)
So, I have not fallen off the face of the earth... I promise!! :-) I have just been busy working on some fun stuff to share with you!

{Little K., Big K., & Miss S.} Mountain Home, Idaho | Children Portrait Photography

Saturday afternoon, we got LUCKY with our photo shoot! We happened to perfectly schedule our shoot time during the best part of a stormy, cold and yucky day! The sun was perfectly diffused by the clouds, giving us perfect light and the freedom to shoot where ever we wanted too! PLUS, I got to hang out with these adorable kids!!

It was cold, windy, and they were still all smiles.

You can tell Little K. looks up to his BIG brother!

BIG K. was also great to work with! He was a natural, and did such a good job with all the requests.

And then we have Miss S. A beautiful young lady that loved the camera, and the camera loved her right back!

Last, we headed to the Bruneau Sand Dunes and took some pictures with some GIANT EASTER EGGS, that I made before the shoot. The storm was blowing in hard at this point. We did get some cute photos with the kids and the eggs, but I couldn't help to show the real windy, sandy, and cold conditions the kids were in... they were troopers!! :-) PLUS, it gave me an excuse to buy them some gummy bears for what some like to call a "reward." I like to just call it bribery. They didn't need it though. They were good all on their own. I needed a "reward" for my self and enjoyed the second bag of gummy bears as we drove around from site to site.

I went out with the Carns last weekend for a photo shoot. I really had a great time with both of them. It does help that Sandra is a good friend of mine. :-) I am just glad that her hubby played along. I had a lot of really fund ideas and they were both game the entire time. Marc even threw in some funny jokes, that I of course didn't get... but I just laughed hysterically, anyway.

You guys were so much fun to work with!! You are both amazing in front of the camera. So thanks for a fun sunset date! Even if I was the third wheel.

{OSC Aution 2010, Wild Wild West} Mountain Home, Idaho | Portrait Photographer

I had such a great opportunity to be the photographer for the OSC (Officer Spouses Club) Annual Auction this year. Their theme was Wild Wild West. What an amazing group of ladies!! They all did such a great job at decorating for the evening. It all surpassed my expectations. I am excited to say that I will being joining their group very soon!

The OSC raises money each year to provide scholarships to spouses and children in the military. People are invited to attend from all over the state. I donated a photo shoot plus a framed 11x14 to the silent auction!! We had a generous winner, and I am excited to take their photos next month!!

We had a photo booth set up for the evening for couples, friends or individuals take some fun Old Time Photo's. We all had such a fun time getting to know everyone that stopped by!!

When I was a little girl, I use to turn on one of my Garth Brooks albums. I would scroll down as fast as I could to the last song on the CD, Ireland. I would then dream of this beautiful land in my head.

I had the opportunity a year and a half ago to visit those very same, "Rolling Fields of Green," while also doing a four-day photography workshop. It had to be in the top 5 on my list of things to do in my life. What an amazing feeling it is to fulfill a dream!

Below are a few of my smaller souvenirs from the trip. A fun little Ireland spoon. I think I just might take up spoon collecting from all my travels. There is also a fun little "Kiss Me I'm Irish," photo clip. Last, a business card from one of the Bed and Breakfasts my husband and I stayed in, the Portarra Lodge in Moycullen, Co. Galway. My husband and I booked a Pike fishing trip on the Loch Corrib, and caught record size pike weighing in at 30 & 32 lbs!!

The memories are great, and now preserved with photos. We also picked up an Ireland flag to stick out on St. Patrick's Day. I had a little fun in a mini-photo shoot with the flag!
